Why?
It’s so easy to grab a bag of crisps if we’re hungry instead of preparing a healthier meal or snack. That is why we don’t notice how often we do it. The problem is that our bodies are geared up for storing fat, so eating too many fatty snacks is a quick way of adding to our fat stores, which can lead to diseases like heart disease, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer.

How?
Most snacks are high in fat. Therefore, you should try to limit the amount of crisps, buns, cakes, pastries and biscuits you eat; and replace them with a handful of unsalted nuts or carrot sticks instead.
