Forget crazy diets and resist the temptation to completely eliminate so-called 'bad' foods from your daily intake. You DO still need to consume fats and to treat yourself to the foods you love. Extreme diets simply destory your metabolism and cause you to regain more weight in the long run.

Instead, opt for a balanced diet. Include a variety of fruit and vegetables alongside your proteins and carbohydrates, and don't forget your small daily treat. All change must be sustainable, so think realistically about how to make your diet healthier for good.

All things in moderation, including those occasional fried foods and chocolate bars!
