Our brains take a while to register that we’re full. So, if we eat quickly, we can eat more than we need which can contribute to weight gain and disease such as heart disease, diabetes and some cancers.

Slowing down at mealtime is easier than you think. It’s good to eat at the table together as a family and enjoy conversation more so there are bigger breaks between each mouthful.
